Dagmar studied glass painting at the Glass school in Železny Brod and then in the Glass studio with Ilja Bílek, where she received her MA at Faculty of Art and Design at J. E. Purkyne University in Ústi nad Labem. She studied in Glass studio at MOME in Budapest and in Painting studio at RUFA in Rome. She got a scholarship to work at Light Design Institute in Amsterdam. Her work is based on contemporary graphic trends, which she applies on glass by traditional techniques (painting, engraving, cutting). She co-founded the studio Penocze, focused on production of glass designs and lighting installations and since 2014 she works in the Glass Art Centre in Sázava. Dagmar seeks beauty and higher sense in simple formats and industrial materials.
