Pavlina graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Turnov in Gem cutting and engraving and then from the Higher Glass School in Novy Bor. She has been member of “The Guild of Glass Engravers” since 2008. She teaches glass engraving technique in Bild-Werk in Frauenau and in “The Studio” in Corning. She has organized, since 2014, the School of Jiri Harcuba in order to keep the tradition of Dominik Biman School, diffused worldwide by professor Harcuba. She has been an artist in residence in Toyama City Institute of Glass Art TIGA in Japan and in Pilchuck Glass School in the USA. Her main focus is the experimental exploration of the glass engraving technique. She often gets her inspiration from the nature and from everyday events.
