Michaela studied at the Glass School in Kamenický Šenov and then she got a Master´s degree in studio Glass from the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem. During her studies she received several foreign scholarships and she started to focus more on conceptual art and its installation in gallery. She gained her second Master´s degree from Curatorial studies at the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem. Since 2010, she works as assistant professor in the Design Glass studio, lead by Petr stanický at the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín and as well she works as curator of Billboart Gallery Europe in Ústí nad Labem. In her work, Michaela reacts to the real shapes of women body in opposition to the strict of the beauty ideals based in contemporary pop culture.
