Vicky got first familiarized with glass while she was studying 3D design. She then pursued her glass studies at the Sunderland University in Great Britain. She earned multiple awards, for instance the Glass Student Award within the British Glass Biennale, the Edinburgh Craft Makers Award and the Creative Scotland´s Emerging Artist Bursary for a year-round creative work. She worked as an artist in residence in edinburgh College of Art and in North Lands Creative Glass in Scotland. She works mostly with blown glass, making utility vessels of elegant shapes and colors inspired by modern Japanese culture.
