Riccardo started approaching sculpture in age fifteen. While studying the High School U. Boccioni in Milan he has influenced by the figurative sculpting with clay in the studio Art Therapy, lead by sculptor Renzo Rastrelli. After graduating in Cultural Heritage at the State University in Milan he decided to return to the sculpture and he moved to Carrara. In spite of his expectations, he left the figurative style and discovered a new type of sculpting – intallation, based on minimalism and spatial assemblage. Riccardo worked for the Study of Art Cave Michelangelo, he participated at the Memory Day of Michelangelo Carving in Florence, Carrara Marble Weeks and he got a study scholarship in the studio Sculpting II, lead by Jan Ambruz at the FAVU VUT Brno.
