Ondrej studied at the Secondary Glass School in Valasske Mezirici and later at the Padagogical Faculty of Palacky University in Olomouc and then the Industrial Design with professor Pavel Skarka at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. Since 2000, he works as teacher at the Glass School in Valasske Mezirici and at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin at the Faculty of multimedia communications. He creates blown glass pieces with a feel for material and for the shape function, making design vessels, table solitaires, and larger sculptural objects. Ondrej pieces represent the way he works with a natural organic property of glass. He knows its possibilities and impact.
